Home, Sweet Home

At 2:00am this morning, after 32 straight hours of travel, Julianna arrived at her new headquarters in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, with her adoring campaign staff. She has spent the day doing what any candidate would do after such an exhausting trek - eating, sleeping, occasionally fussing, and watching "Baby Einstein" videos.

Since we were unfortunately not able to update the blog while we were in China, we have posted a few summary pictures below. We hope to fill in the rest of the adventures soon.

Thanks again to all who contributed to Julianna's homecoming campaign. We are especially grateful to the Vineyard Church of Wellsboro, which not only managed the donations, but also gave generously as a church body. If you would like to contribute to the Vineyard Church Adoption Fund and help give orphaned children loving families, see column at right.

July 26, 2010 - Gotcha Day for Julianna. Our first moment together in Nanchang, China.

Julianna makes an important call to one of her campaign supporters.

Julianna poses with members of the campaign staff for a photographer in Guangzhou, China. The image illustrates some of her key platform issues: the use of pink head coverings (i.e. umbrellas and hats) to block harmful sun rays and convey a sense of style, safe construction zones, and the benefits of bicycle riding.

Julianna and Mom share a few chuckles in the hotel room.

Dad and Julianna getting ready to board a bus. A natural born comedian, Julianna has just told dad a good joke and can't help but laugh at her own adorable cleverness.

At the last official campaign stop in China - the Consulate General of the United States of America, in Guangzhou.
